NEW DELHI: Dmv Booking Ltd, the booking portal for bookings at booking agents, has cancelled booking appointments at booking agent sites, it said on Wednesday.
The booking portal has been unable to book appointments through its booking portal as of 11.00am, the company said in a statement.
The portal had earlier announced on Tuesday that it had cancelled the booking of bookings through its portal as it had received “no interest” from booking agents on booking agents sites.
The company said it had issued a notice to all booking agents for booking cancellations, stating that they had to take action to meet the demands of the booking agents.
It said it has notified the State Information Commission (SIC) and the Registrar of Companies (RoC) of the cancellation of booking agent’s booking through its online booking portal.
The SIC said in its order on Tuesday, that the cancellation notice is likely to be issued within the next 24 hours.
Dmv said in the notice, it had not received any interest from booking agent on booking agent site.
The firm said it was looking at options of reducing its staffing levels and restructuring the portal.
“We are considering the possibility of reducing our staffing levels in the coming days, including for staff from the IT department, the HR department, and the online portal,” it said.
